January, 2006: Happy 18th Birthday, Britt!! We
flew to KEY LARGO, FL so she could begin her scuba diving certification;
her first dive was the "Christ of the Abyss" statue..
Late October 2005: Spent a solo weekend in SAVANNAH,
GA, right on the river.. very relaxing.
October 2005: After almost 3 years, I find myself single again.. Maybe I should grow up to be some crazy old lady with 50 cats..? Oh well, c'est la vie.. it was fun while it lasted.
July 2005: PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, for the WaterFire
celebration on the river.
June 2005: 2 days after arriving in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC for a well-deserved week of R&R,
my fiance's father, Robert Doup, passed away; so sad; we thought he had SO much more time. He was one of the most unique & interesting people I've met in a long time. Robert, even tho you frustrated me sometimes to the point of insanity, I sure miss you!
May, 2005: Being a landlord wasn't bad at all, but I couldn't resist the real estate value appreciation over the last few years, so I sold my rental property for an incredible profit.. Next item on my agenda.. maybe an inground pool?? (if I have any money left after paying Britt's college tuition).
February, 2004: Goodbye, S. 3rd Street, we're moving across town.. Close friends and family, email me for our new address. God help me, I'm a landlord now (thought I'd try my hand at dealing with a rental property; wish me luck!)
November, 2003: EGYPT! November I found my way to Cairo with my Aunt for a fantastic cruise down the Nile and visits all over the country to the incredible pyramids and tombs. If you're interested in pics, email me and I'll send you the SnapFish album.
April 2003: I've traded in tons of freelance projects for mountain biking and
a return to scuba diving. Dove Barbados last year.. I took the kids to
TURKS & CAICOS (click for pictures).
